The Hi-Desert Nature Museum presents its annual Student Art Show on display through June 4. This exhibit showcases the finest work from Copper Mountain College and Yucca Valley High School’s rising talent. The dual display consists of paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, and mixed media works covering a large variety of compelling subjects and artistic styles. The Museum will host an opening reception on Friday, May 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., offering a special opportunity for the public to preview the exhibition, meet the artists and enjoy refreshments. The Hi-Desert Nature Museum is located in the Yucca Valley Community Center Complex at 57116 Twentynine Palms Highway. Admission is free.
