Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a case of strong-arm robbery at the Twentynine Palms Stater Brothers grocery store Saturday night. According to a Sheriff’s report, an employee saw an unidentified suspect take a bottle of liquor from the store without paying for it. When the employee attempted to stop the thief, the man struck the employee in the face. The suspect then ran to a black Nissan car in the parking lot where a female driver was waiting for him.
