STREET BRAWL IN YUCCA VALLEY

Sheriff’s deputies were called to a street brawl in Yucca Valley Thursday evening. Shortly before 7 p.m., two groups of people in the 6400 block of Goleta Avenue began arguing. According to a Sheriff’s report, witnesses said one woman had a gun and was chasing people. Some people thought a vehicle was being driven too close to them, and so threw a rock through its window in self-defense. Deputies will forward the case to the district attorney for review for possible charges.
