STORMS CAUSE POWER OUTAGE IN OVER 4,000 TWENTYNINE PALMS AREA HOMES

Some 3,985 homes lost power around 4:15 p.m. Monday in Twentynine Palms, according to Southern California Edison. Another 128 customers north of the city limits lost power around 3:40 p.m., according to SCE. The outage was caused by storm conditions in the area, the power company said. Power was restored to most areas by 7 p.m. last night.
