Stoned Temple Pilots pays tribute to the alternative metal and grunge band that came out of San Diego in the 1990s. STP earned a reputation as one of the world’s top pop and rock bands of that decade. To date, STP has put out 17 studio albums. Saturday night’s live tribute offers an authentic experience for fans of hits albums like Core, Purple, No. 4, and Shangri-La Dee Da. Stoned Temple Pilots hit the outdoor stage at Tortoise Rock Casino at 8 p.m. The free Live at the Rock concert series happens every Saturday night at Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms. Next weekend, the band Oceans pays tribute to Pearl Jam.
