At least two people were cited Saturday in Yucca Valley, accused of purchasing alcohol for minors. During a sting operation, minors, under the supervision of Sheriff’s deputies, visited liquor stores and retail establishments that sell alcohol and asked people to buy alcohol for them. Arrests were made about 2:30 p.m. in the 55800 block of Highway 62 and 4:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of Old Woman Springs Road. The suspects were issued a citation with a date to appear in court.
