STILL NO ARRESTS IN THE JUNE HOMICIDES OF TWO TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMEN

Almost seven months after the bodies of a mother and daughter were found following a Twentynine Palms house fire, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s detectives still have made no arrests in the case. On June 9, about 10:20 p.m., firefighters were called to a fire in the 75600 block of Valley Vista Road in Twentynine Palms. The bodies of Linda Sayer, 67, and Sheila Sayer, 48, were found in two bedrooms inside. An autopsy confirmed that the manner of their deaths was homicide, however, investigators are not releasing any details about how the victims died.
