A new Yucca Valley theater company offers “Steel Magnolias” in Yucca Valley. The St. Joseph’s Players play runs Fridays and Saturdays through July 27 at 7 p.m., with a Sunday matinees this weekend at 2 p.m. The performance takes place at St. Joseph of Arimathea Church in Yucca Valley, at the corner of Church Street and Onaga Trail. For tickets, call the church box office number at 760-365-7133. The price of an adult ticket for “Steel Magnolias” is $10. For seniors, children, military personnel and their families it’s only $8.
