STATE WATER QUALITY BOARD TO MEET IN YUCCA VALLEY THURSDAY

The California Regional Water Quality Control Board will hold its June meeting in Yucca Valley Thursday, June 13. The Hi-Desert Water District will provide a tour of its future wastewater treatment plant, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The board will re-convene at the water district’s board office at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley, at 9:30 a.m. for the business part of its meeting. Of interest to Morongo Basin residents, the Water Quality Control Board will consider the adoption of revised waste discharge requirements for the Landers landfill.
