The Colorado River Basin Regional Water Quality Control Board will hold a regional meeting in Yucca Valley Thursday morning. Among the many items on the agenda will be a discussion of the future ban on septic tanks in Yucca Valley. The Board is expected to present to the community how it will enforce its ban on septic tanks once the prohibition takes effect in three years, and who can expect to be on the receiving end of the sanctions. The meeting will be held in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center, starting at 10 a.m.
