Among items of interest for the next meeting of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board is a consideration of adoption of Waste Discharge Requirements for a self-service laundry facility in Twentynine Palms. DePierro Development Corporation is proposing the redevelopment of an existing site and structure at 6543 Cholla Avenue to be the only commercial laundromat in the city of Twentynine Palms. The wastewater from the site’s 36 washing machines will drain in to a septic system. The meeting is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, January 10, at 73720 Fred Waring Drive, Suite 100, in Palm Desert.
