The California Office of Emergency Services has shipped out millions of N95 masks to multiple front-line sectors to help health care workers stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the N95 masks, the OES has distributed more than 205 million surgical masks throughout California. Masks have been provided to health workers; transit, public works and utility workers; educators and school support staff; agricultural workers; public service workers; construction workers; tribal governments; business and office workers; and lodging employees.
