The California Office of Emergency Services has distributed 164 million surgical masks to workers in critical sectors who are performing essential tasks in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As of last week, the agencies and organizations that have received the most masks include medical, nursing and senior care workers with 32.1 million masks; tribal governments; agricultural workers; public service employees; and educators and school support staff.
