Sky’s the Limit Observatory and Nature Center invites stargazers to enjoy the desert night sky tonight. A variety of telescopes will be available for guests to view the incredible cosmic sights. Here’s reporter Tanisha Cureton with your invitation…
The winte Milky Way is setting in the west as the spring constellations are rising in the east. Some interesting galaxies will be on display, such as the Bode’s Galaxy, Cigar Galaxy, the edge-on Needle Galaxy and many more. Guests are welcome to use the telescopes provided or may bring their own binoculars and scopes. This free public event begins at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 7th and will last approximately three hours. The Observatory is at 9697 Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms, just outside the main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. For more information call 760-365-7897.
