Stalking suspect found hiding in Yucca Valley child’s dollhouse

A Bakersfield man was arrested on suspicion of stalking after he was found hiding in a child’s dollhouse in Yucca Valley.

Just before 10 p.m. on Monday (February 27), Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call in the 3800 block of Surrey Ave in Yucca Valley. The victim reported that the father of a juvenile in the house was outside hitting windows and kicking doors in an attempt to gain entry.

The suspect was identified as Anthony McClury, a 43 year-old resident of Bakersfield, who was recently released from prison for violating a restraining order.

Deputies searched the residence and surrounding property, ultimately finding McClury hiding in a doll house.

Anthony McClury was arrested for suspicion of stalking and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
