After a very successful opening weekend, the St. Joseph’s Players’ production of “The Nerd” continues its run in Yucca Valley. The Kiwanis Club of Greater Yucca Valley hosted the gala opening night. The charity raised just over $1,100. This laugh-out-loud comedy is not to be missed. The talented cast includes Ben Bees, Beau Stoker, Jericho McWilliams, Bianca Stoker, Dave Jessup, Shelly Sheckler, and Trevor Carpenter. The production is directed by Rebecca Havely. The play runs Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2:30, through July 17. St. Joseph’s Church is located at 56312 Church Street in Yucca Valley. Tickets are from $9 to $11.
