ROP Broadcasting student Chris Hasley has a suggestions for teenagers with time on their hands during spring break…
Don’t have anything to do this spring break gospel fellowship Christian Center Church, located at 5898 Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms, is having a teen lock-in. I interviewed their first lady, Gerry Washington. She had this to say, “The lock-in is designed for children ages 13-18 or grades 7-12. Its primary objective is to teach them the word of god and to stand on gods principles.” There is free food, lots of dancing, good music, and cash prizes for the talent show. My final question I asked was, “Who created the lock-in?” She answered, “Pastor T.K. Washington created the event so teens would come to Christ and fellowship together.” For more information visit their web site www.gfccc.org.
