Nationally recognized playwright Phil Olson asked Theater 29 to prepare a staged reading of his latest comedy, “A Nice Family Christmas.” The one-night-only reading will take place on the Theatre 29 main stage Saturday, July 23, at 7 p.m. Olsen will attend the exclusive preview performance and is seeking audience and cast feedback before his play is completed and performed in seven community theaters nationwide. Under the direction of Marty Neider, this staged reading features Randy Smith, Cindy Daigneault, Kurt Schauppner, Marty Neider, Robert Pushkar, Mandi Pushkar, and Kylie Robinson. Tickets to “A Nice Family Christmas” staged reading are $10 each and are available only be calling the Theatre 29 box office at 760-361-4151 or at the door. Donations of non-perishable food items for the Local Food Bank will also be collected at the performance. Seating is first come-first seated for this event.
