A meeting tomorrow could very well decide the future of the Twentynine Palms Fire Department. The board of directors of the Twentynine Palms Water District will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday to discuss a proposal to annex the fire department to San Bernardino County. Directors will also consider possible action to initiate the application procedure with the Local Agency Formation Commission. The meeting will be held in the water district office, 72401 Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
