In June, more than 600 law enforcement officers served 80 search warrants on cannabis cultivators in the small community of Anza in Riverside County. Edison Gomez from the High Country Growers Association will give a first-hand account of the raid at a meeting of the Marijuana Anti-Prohibition Project in Joshua Tree. The meeting is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, September 7, at the Beatnik Lounge on the highway in downtown Joshua Tree.
