The classic comedy, “An Ideal Husband” opens the Theatre 29 season with a gala fundraiser benefitting the Soroptimists International. Written by Oscar Wilde and co-directed by Butch Pelfrey and Tom Highfill, this delightful drawing room comedy opens Friday January 9. The cost for the opening night gala only is $25. and includes; heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages when the doors open at 6 p.m. The show with a curtain at 7 p.m. and decadent desserts at intermission. Other offerings include a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing and a joint fundraiser for both the Soroptimists and Sky’s the Limit. Raffle tickets for a beautiful handmade quilt with a star theme will be sold with the winner drawn at a future date.
