SOROPTIMISTS, SKY’S THE LIMIT, BENEFIT FROM THEATRE 29 OPENING NIGHT

Soroptimist International of Twentynine Palms will be sponsoring the opening night of Theatre 29’s first play of 2015, Oscar Wilde’s “An Ideal Husband,” under the direction of Butch Pelfrey and Tom Highfill. This wild drawing room comedy revolves around blackmail, political corruption and touches on the themes of public and private honor. Oh what it takes to stay “the ideal husband.” Opening night is on Friday, January 9, the cost per person is $25, which includes heavy Hors d’oeuvres, beverages and desserts at the intermission. There will be a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing and this year, Soroptimist and Sky’s the Limit have partnered on this joint fundraiser which benefits both organizations. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the play will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the Flower Garden Florist, Z107.7 radio, Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce, from any Soroptimist, or at the door.
