The Soroptimist Club of Yucca Valley intends to deliver Christmas gifts to 90 residents at the Continuing Care Center in Joshua Tree, and is asking for the public’s help. Many of these residents have no family in the area with whom to celebrate the holidays. Bring a new, unwrapped gift, such as mittens, pajamas, slipper socks, lap blankets, or toiletries, to the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce by December 10. Club members will wrap the gifts and deliver them to the Continuing Care Center by December 15. Your gift will help a resident have a merry Christmas.
