Learn how to recognize your theme song at a workshop in Yucca Valley. Stephanie Kern, a singer, songwriter, and poet, will lead a workshop Saturday, August 26, during which participants will meditate and explore their personal journeys, all in an effort to recognize the elements that make up the song inside them. Bring a journal or notebook and lunch. The workshop, set for 10:30 to 3 p.m., is limited to 10 people. A donation of $25 is requested. To register, call 760-418-5170.
