Solo car crash on Old Woman Springs Road results in DUI charge for 19 year-old

A 19 year-old was arrested for investigation into driving under the influence (DUI) after allegedly crashing his car on Old Woman Springs Road.

Early Sunday morning (December 14) at around 2:40 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash in the 5500 block of Old Woman Springs Road near Spencer Road. A bystander witnessed a single-car crash and called 911. When deputies arrived they identified the driver as Victor Ramirez, 19.

No other vehicles were said to be involved in the crash, and the Sheriff’s Department did not provide additional information on the nature of the crash. Deputies say that Ramirez was found to be intoxicated, and though he was uninjured in the crash he was taken to a local hospital for medical clearance prior to booking.
