SOLAR PROJECTS AND COUNTY’S RENEWABLE ENERGY PLAN ON AGENDA FOR HOMESTEAD VALLEY MEETING MONDAY

Residents of Johnson Valley, Flamingo Heights, Landers and Yucca Mesa, are invited to the monthly meeting of the Homestead Valley Community Council tomorrow, February 19, at 3 p.m. On the agenda will be a discussion of the county’s Renewable Energy Conservation Element and permit applications for more than 5,000 acres of solar projects in rural living zones. The meeting will be held in the Johnson Valley Community Center on Larrea and Quailbush Roads, 2 ½ miles off Highway 247.
