SMASH HIT “ADDAMS FAMILY” RUN EXTENDED AT THEATRE 29

Theatre 29 has crowds clamoring to experience “The Addams Family” musical. This certified smash hit has been extended by adding a third matinee. Reporter Rebecca Havely has all the details…
Don’t miss out on the show of the season at Theatre 29. The smash hit musical, “The Addams Family” musical has been extended through November 1. Director Kathryn Ferguson says of her cast, “Leonard Weber as Gomez is masterful; Virginia Sulick’s Morticia is an imperious, sexy goddess; and Jasmine Shaffer as Wednesday is a stick of intense low-key dynamite and Charles Harvey as Uncle Fester is a goofy, madcap spirit. Cindy Daigneault as Grandma Addams she says is equal parts old hippie and crazy cat (or rat) lady; and Pugsley, played by Amanda Mohn, was a delight and nailed the part with a dangerous flair. She also lauded the Bieneke family played by Gary Daigneault, Amanda Winters and Scott Clinckscales. Finally Ferguson applauds the ensemble “ancestors” saying they are the glue that holds the whole show together. With many of the remaining performance dates already selling out, the time to make reservations is now.
The Addams Family musical runs Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. with 2:30 Sunday matinees on October 24 and now November 1 as well. Tickets are available for purchase at theatre29.org or by calling 760-361-4151. Some overflow seating is available on an as available basis for all performances but reservations are highly recommended.
