County fire officials are investigating the cause of a small fire in Yucca Valley Wednesday morning. About 11:40, firefighters were called to the 7800 block of Acoma Trail where a backyard shed and nearby vegetation were burning. The resident had put out most of the blaze using a garden hose; firefighters had the rest of the flames out within a few minutes of arrival.
