Yucca Valley firefighters were called to a fire in a storage container in Yucca Valley this morning. County Battalion Chief Scott Tuttle said the call came in at 6:33 for the fire near Cobalt Road and Cholla Avenue. The 20-foot container was filled with engine blocks and car parts. Firefighters had the fire under control in about 10 minutes; the cause is still under investigation.
