Yucca Mesa and Yucca Valley firefighters, along with Calfire, were called to a vegetation fire in Johnson Valley Sunday just after 2 p.m. About an acre and a half of grass and brush was burning behind a home on Lazy Lane, just off Old Woman Springs Road. Calfire is investigating the cause of the fire.
