The Hi-Desert Cultural Center presents three performances featuring music from rock, R&B, and Motown artists. Entitled “Slice of Summer,” the concert at the Blak Box Theater in Joshua Tree will feature the Hi-Desert Master Chorus performing music selections from The Beach Boys, The Mamas and the Papas, The Beatles, Queen, and many more.
The over 40-member chorus is under the direction of Analisa Pilecki and assistant director and piano accompanist Nelms McKelvain. Performances are Friday, June 28, and Saturday, June 29, at 7:30 p.m., with a special matinee performance on Sunday, June 30 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15-$26 and a cash bar will be available before and throughout each performance. Patrons must be at least 5 years of age to attend.
