The artist led Slamdance Film Festival kicked off in Joshua Tree last night, and there’s still much more to come this weekend. Reporter Ernest Figueroa says the event is just getting started…
The 12-film line-up includes short works from Slamdance’s inaugural Unstoppable program created by filmmakers with visible and non-visible disabilities. The three-day event will be held September 24-26 from 6 p.m. to midnight. At the Joshua Tree Retreat Center (59700 Twentynine Palms Highway). The event is open to the public.
