A Sky Valley man was arrested in Yucca Valley Thursday, March 4, accused of transporting drugs for sale. Just before 2 a.m. Thursday, deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Robert Harvey, 33, near Old Woman Springs Road and Aviation Drive in Yucca Valley for an inoperable taillight. During a search of the vehicle, deputies found methamphetamine, heroin, and narcotic prescription drugs. Robert Harvey was arrested on suspicion of transporting heroin for sales and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
