SKETCHY INFORMATION ON A STABBING TUESDAY MORNING IN 29 PALMS

Very little information is available on a stabbing classified as an attempted murder by Sheriff’s deputies in Twentynine Palms early Tuesday morning. First responders were called to the 73800 block of Cactus Drive about 12:20 a.m. Tuesday morning for a man who was stabbed. Deputies said the victim went to a home and asked the resident to call for help. Despite being uncooperative with the investigation, the victim–who has not been identified–said he met two black men near the location and they stabbed him once in the left torso and once in the right hand. The victim had serious injuries and was transported by Morongo Basin Ambulance to a landing zone. A medical helicopter took the victim to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs for treatment.
