Yucca Valley High School wrestling had six of the nine wrestlers in the Granite Hills High School tournament get wins, most of them pins.
Coach Patrick Francis John Cruz took third in the tournament. Tim Harris, Eric Vera, and Luis Saavedra all took fourth in the tournament.
All the wrestlers are continuing to improve and are wrestling very tough. The next match is at home against Cathedral City High School Wednesday, December 18, at 5 p.m. The girls are undefeated in league, and the boys are looking forward to getting a second win.
