It was an exciting last day of school for some Twentynine Palms High School senior athletes, who signed commitment letters to play for sports teams at the collegiate level. Cassidy Taylor was there for the celebration…
National Signing Day may have been in February, but as we all have learned, everything gets delayed in a pandemic. With remote learning, delayed and shortened seasons, and the many other challenges that high school senior athletes faced the last year, it was a happy day when six wildcats signed letters of commitment to kick off their collegiate athletic careers.
Three football players will continue their careers as quarterback, Carson Estrada, has committed to play for the Tabor College Bluejays in Kansas, running back, Chris Pacheco committed to play for the Missouri Valley College Vikings, and wide receiver, Zechariah Rhodes committed to play for the Ottawa Braves in Arizona. Wildcat swimmer, Colton Charles, has committed to swim for the Sterling College Warriors in Kansas. And ladycats, Ashley Emhoff and Victoria Emhoff committed to play softball for the Missouri Valley College Vikings.
Congratulations and good luck to the freshly minted high school graduates!
