The divine musical comedy hit “Sister Act” finishes its run at Theatre 29 this weekend. The musical “Sister Act” is based on the film of the same name. The live comedy is running now at Theatre 29 and stars award-winning actress/singer Robin Wilson in the leading role of Deloris Van Cartier. She witnesses a murder and must hide from the bad guys. She’s hidden in a convent where she ends up leading a “Sister Act” of gospel singing, dancing and even rapping sisters. This family-friendly musical comedy runs through Sunday, March 1, with performances Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2:30.
