The musical “Sister Act” is based on the film of the same name. The live comedy is running now at Theatre 29 and stars award-winning actress/singer Robin Wilson in the leading role of Deloris Van Cartier. She witnesses a murder and must hide from the bad guys. She’s hidden in an convent where she ends up leading a “Sister Act” of gospel singing, dancing and even rapping sisters. This family-friendly musical comedy runs weekends through March 1 with performances Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:30.
