SINGERS SOUGHT FOR “MIS-CAST: PART DEUX” AT THEATRE 29

Theatre 29 is seeking vocalists for “Mis-Cast: Part Deux”. This is the second summer where singers have a chance to play a role they may not ever have had a chance to perform otherwise. With audition details here’s Rebecca Havely…

Are you a bit too old to play little orphan Annie? Or maybe you’ve always wished you could play the Phantom of the Opera but you’re a soprano?  Well don’t let anything stop you from singing a song from a dream role that may never come true. That’s the theme of “Mis-Cast”; a musical revue fundraiser benefiting the Theatre 29 building expansion fund. Choose a song for auditions that you’ve never had a chance to perform, or just chose a song that shows off your range. Director Lisa Goldberg and Musical Director Scott Clinkscales will be casting the cabaret style revue at auditions on Monday, June 3, at 6:00 p.m. Bring a non-vocal backing track on a mobile device. The show will be performed twice: Saturday, June 22 will be a gala event with dinner, auctions, and drawings; plus a matinee show on Sunday, June 23.
