The Desert Hills Presbyterian Church is raising money for the homeless. Reporter David Knutson has more… The Partners in Caring team from Desert Hills Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a silent auction to raise money to help the homeless. The event will start at noon on April 2nd with barbequed burgers and hot dogs for a suggested donation of $5 per person. Then, there will be a silent auction in the fellowship hall featuring paintings, flower arrangements, home crafted items and much more. The auction closes at 2 p.m. All proceeds will go to projects for the homeless. If you would like to donate, call Desert Hills Presbyterian Church to arrange a pick up before April 2nd at 760-365-6331. The church is located at 56750 Mountain View Trail in Yucca Valley.
