The Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department began accepting registrations for youth soccer and volleyball on Monday (August 2) and will continue to accept applications through August. The co-ed soccer league is open to youth ages 4-14 and all skill levels. The co-ed volleyball league is open to youth in 4th-8th grades and all skill levels. Registration for both events will be accepted at the Parks & Recreation office from 1-6 p.m. and online at 29palms.org until 6 p.m. Friday, August 27. The registration fee of $47 for each league includes a uniform. Volunteer coaches and officials are needed. Call the parks & recreation department at 760-367-7562 for additional information.
