Citizens of Twentynine Palms who are interested in running for a 4-year term on the governing board of the Twentynine Palms Water District may pick up candidacy documents beginning Monday, May 6. The documents may be obtained at Twentynine Palms Water District offices Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., 72401 Hatch Road, or at the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 777 E. Rialto Avenue.
Completed documents must be filed at the Registrar of Voters by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 31. Potential candidates must be registered voters of the district at the time they pick up their candidacy documents. For candidacy qualifications, or more information, call (909) 387-8300 or visit:
