Boys and girls ages 6 to 14 can sign up now for basketball through the Town of Yucca Valley. Program offerings include a new pee-wee division for children in first and second grades. The six-week program offers a choice of Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday sessions, beginning January 11. The cost is $40. Boys and girls in third-fourth grades, fifth-sixth, and seventh-eighth grades play separately. Practices will be held twice a week, starting December 7, with games on Saturdays, beginning January 9. The season ends in March. Cost is $60 per player. Registration is open until November 20,or until the programs are full.
