October is Breast Cancer Awareness month; the Hi-Desert Medical Center hosts a free seminar on the importance of regular mammograms. Join medical staff at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28 in the Helen Gray Education Center to discuss why compression is important, what to do with screening results, what to ask your physician, and the importance of follow ups. Mammograms are critical in diagnosing breast cancer and can save lives by finding breast cancer early. Light refreshments and educational material will be provided.
