Now is the time to look at your current Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. Will there be changes in your costs? Will your doctors remain a part of your plan? Are your medications still covered? These are some of the things seniors will need to reconsider during the Medicare open enrollment period, which runs through December 7. Reach Out Morongo Basin will host a Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy program, October 31, from 10 to 2. Counselors will help seniors go over Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare prescription plans and determine which is best for them. The event is free at the Twentynine Palms Senior Center.
