The Mount San Jacinto Natural History Association will host its first lecture of the “Getting in Touch with Nature” lectures. Managing editor Tami Roleff says the lecture will be about an animal known as the “ghost of the desert”…
The Sonoran pronghorn is an iconic animal of the American West. It is the fastest land mammal in North America, and only the cheetah in Africa can run faster. An online lecture via Zoom will discuss the Sonoran pronghorn, where and how they have survived in the desert, and how they can be saved for future generations. The free lecture is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, February 9, and is limited to only 100 participants. Visit the link below to register. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
