Enjoy a day of running and splashing during the Town of Yucca Valley’s splash-dash summer fun run. The 5K run or 2K walk starts at 7 p.m. Friday, August 17, at Machris Park in Yucca Valley. The registration fee is $25 until the race day. Those who register early get express check-in and a free T-shirt. Enjoy a giant water slide and kiddie pools after the race.
