Legions of selfless individuals are risking their lives every day to provide care and comfort to victims of the deadly virus while putting their own lives in danger. Some are paying the ultimate price. American Outreach Foundation, based in Rancho Mirage, is sponsoring a petition to compel Congress to provide financial compensation and scholarships to the families of healthcare personnel who lose their lives to COVID-19.
