Dodger, Angels, Giants and A’s fans get ready, because the Miracle League is ready to play ball. Due to the overwhelmingly positive response, Miracle League Baseball is anticipating extending its league from two to four teams this season. Two games will be played each Monday evening starting April 28 through the month of June.
Players should turn in completed registration forms to the Basin Wide Foundation office located in the California Welcome Center in Yucca Valley. The registration fee for the spring season is $40, and scholarships are available if needed. Those who wish to serve as buddies to the players should contact Stacey Schooler at 760-625-9504. Each player is paired with a buddy who assists them during the game depending on the type and level of their disability.
