SHOTS FIRED DURING ROAD RAGE INCIDENT IN YUCCA VALLEY

A road rage incident in Yucca Valley Saturday (July 10) ended with one driver pulling a gun and firing it towards the other driver’s vehicle. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies responded to a report of shots fired on Old Woman Springs Road near Mesa Drive around 1:30 p.m. The victim told deputies that they were traveling northbound on Old Woman Springs Road when a black adult male driving a green sedan began tailgating them. The suspect became angry with the victim, pulled out a handgun, and fired 2-3 shots towards the victim’s vehicle. The victim quickly drove away to a safe location and called 911. Arriving deputies determined that the victim’s vehicle had not been hit and that there were no injuries. The incident is currently under investigation.
